Gifting Richard & His Pup a New Car!
We collaborated with @drkwane @TheStreetVet to give our unhoused friend Richard and his pup, Princess Leia, a car! We are so happy to be working with Dr. Kwane Stewart to give Richard this gift... but we're not done yet! This is just beginning of this story.
Wags & Walks
On August 22, 2023, HolistaPet's CEO, Dareh Zadoorian, along with Project Street Vet's Dr. Kwane Stewart, joined Dayla and a plethora of HolistaPet employees to shake hands (and paws) at the Wags & Walks Los Angeles rescue shelter.
Caring for Wags dogs averages $500 for all medical care, supplies, and food. So to demonstrate HolistaPet's commitment, Dareh presented Lesley and her staff with a (large) check in the amount of $51,355, enough to sponsor 100 dogs during their adoption journey!

HolistaPet Helps Save Lives
Every pet deserves to live their best life. Unfortunately, far too often, fate lands too many dogs and cats in rescue shelters, which lack the money and resources needed for long-term care. Shelters are then forced to end the lives of countless animals because the shelter can’t afford the food or medicine the helpless animals need. It’s called economic euthanasia, and we’re working hard to eliminate this heartbreaking situation.
Our HolistaPet Helps initiative empowers our customers to help save the lives of shelter pets. When they purchase a product, one dollar goes directly to Wags & Walks, a non-profit rescue and adoption shelter in our community. But that’s only part of the story. We also recently donated over $50,000 to help care for 500 dogs during their adoption journey!

Wags And Walks To The Rescue
Wags And Walks To The Rescue
Since 2011, Wags & Walks have saved more than 11,000 dogs in their Los Angeles, CA, and Nashville, TN, adoption centers. As a rescue and adoption orgainzation, our shared goal is to place a pup with a family who provides a lifetime of love and happiness.
The harsh reality is that it’s expensive to house, feed, and provide veterinary care for hundreds of rescued dogs. On average, it costs $500 to prepare a dog for adoption to their new home. That’s why our customer’s donations are so crucial — they make a difference between life and death for hundreds of dogs in need. Wags & Walks has an incredible adoption success rate, with hundreds of tails wagging with their new adopted family!
Project Street Vet Helps Homeless Pets
Project Street Vet Helps Homeless Pets
Dr. Kwane Stewart is a veterinarian on a mission rendering medical care to homeless pets living on the streets of Southern California. In 2010, Dr. Stewart founded Project Street Vet, and began selflessly providing veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness. Dr. Stewart and his team of volunteers also offer free pet food and supplies to help keep these pets cared for and healthy. We’re thrilled to exclusively partner with Dr. Stewart and his team to connect homeless pet parents with the necessary resources to help them get back on their feet and off the streets. Going forward, HolistaPet Helps, and Project Street Vet will work to support as many unhoused pets as possible and help provide long, healthy, and meaningful lives.
